The Oak Club of Genoa first opened for play in 1971. The course was designed by Charles Maddox.
The Oak Club of Genoa golf course has mature tree lined fairways. The Kishwakee river gently windsing through the course. This golf course layout is not only stern test of golf for the most accomplished players, but with five sets of tee boxes, it is very enjoyable for players of all abilities.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7032 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5538 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 592 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 154 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, the 592 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The Oak Club of Genoa is # 17, the 154 yard par-3.

This is a Charles Maddox designed course. He really knows how to make a fun layout. Very spacious and scenic. I like the 4th hole. Hard to find, bring a google map. High quality golf for a low price.
